What Is Distance Reiki Healing?
Distance Reiki healing is a technique that allows the Reiki Master to offer a Reiki Session without the client being in the same room or geographic location. Distance Healing is also sometimes referred to as the Absent Reiki technique. In other words, the Reiki Master can transmit Reiki (otherwise known as a spiritual energy, qi, or prana) beyond physical touch.

What is Reiki Seichem healing?
Put simply, Reiki healing is one of the most relaxing healing treatments you could ever give or receive. In a world where we forever seem to be on the go, it provides healers and patients time and space to release the stress and tension of daily life. That way, they can better experience each day feeling nourished and enriched with rejuvenated energy. To really understand what this healing consists of, though, it’s essential to consider the two healing styles and their benefits separately to start with –
- Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese method that enhances stress reduction and relaxation so that healing can occur. It literally translates to ‘spiritually guided life energy,’ and relies very much on hands-on Reiki healing techniques. Sessions typically involve a healer using a ‘hands above the body’ technique to open fields within the body so that energy can flow freely. In addition to providing immediate healing benefits, this technique can contribute to ongoing health and well-being among patients of both the emotional and physical body.
- Seichem
Seichem (pronounced say-keem), works in much the same way as Reiki in that it involves a healer placing their hands across the body, but this healing method consists of working on the aura as well. First thought to be an Ancient Egyptian art, Seichem therefore, brings both the de-stress benefits of Reiki alongside a focus on the spiritual and emotional body. Typical Seichem practices focus on the four elements of water, fire, air, and light.
What does Reiki Seichem healing involve?
Now that you understand a little more about each healing practice, you may be wondering how the two come together. Effectively, Reiki Seichem healing involves bringing together the earth energy harnesses in Reiki and the elemental healing found in Seichem for an ultimate healing experience. But what exactly does a Reiki Seichem healing session look like?
With its focus on absolute healing and calm, a Reiki Seichem session should be a relaxing process from start to finish. A healer should first offer consultations to their patients in which they’re able to tailor the experience to an individual’s needs. During this session, a healer should work to understand the reason treatment is being sought and any particular areas of focus. For instance, it is vital to consider at this stage whether specific care should be taken on a more spiritual or physical level.
The healing itself should involve a calm environment where a patient will lie fully clothed on a treatment table. A healer will then begin to transmit healing energies to identified problem areas either through direct touch or by holding their hands just above the body. As a healer moves through each energy feel of the body, sensations such as tingling or warmth are sometimes experienced.
